20th November

Teams are important in elections, no candidate can do it all alone. For party representatives, there are the partyundefined members in the constituency and the local party office, and for all candidates there are friends and family who will work alongside them. Many will give hours of time stuffing envelopes or walking many miles delivering leaflets.

  • Pray for good relationships between members of each candidate’s team
  • Pray that exhaustion will not lead to friction
  • Pray that the relationships built up during this campaign will continue afterwards, either in the support of the elected MP or in the work the team seeks to do in the local community afterwards
  • Pray about the teams that will build across constituencies as neighbouring MPs (even from different parties) share common goals for the local good
  • Pray for the national teams of the major parties, that they may be in accord about what they are aiming to achieve and work together well.
  • After the election, pray that each constituency will have a good team watching over it and serving it well, linked in with good relationships with neighbours and that in this way the whole country is governed and watched over well
